Preparing your Business for Sale

We completed over thirty company sales in the past twelve months. Given the economic climate, this was a great result. In all cases, our clients succeeded in part because they prepared well for sale (or we prepared them).

Whilst we are constantly pushing our deals to get over the line (by developing a good relationship with the advisers to the buyer, by identifying and resolving issues early, by shrewd judgment, etc.), we see lots of practical reasons why deals founder.

In this e-shot, practitioners across our firm report on how to avoid the pitfalls and, conversely, what you can do to enhance your chances of a successful sale.
