Finance Essentials for Trustees

Sound financial management is key to the success of any charity - and something that is the responsibility of all of the trustees, not just those on the finance committee!

Gordon Reid and Helen Harvie from our Charities Team will be joined for this seminar by Helen Elliott from specialist charity accountancy firm Sayer Vincent, and Louise Hall from Investec Wealth & Investment. Between them they will cover:

  • Key issues in charity accounting.
  • Key principles of investment management and how to develop a workable investment policy.
  • The dull but necessary legal aspects, including compliance and reporting.
