Statutory payment rates from 6 April 2014

From 6 April 2014:

  • the maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal was increased to £76,574 (up from £74,200) or 52 weeks’ pay (whichever is the lower amount)
  • the maximum amount of a ‘week’s pay’ for the purposes of calculating an employee’s statutory redundancy payment or basic award for unfair dismissal will increase from £450 to £464.
