Governance & governor training
Good governance requires more than simply ensuring that the school has a range of complementary skills on the governing body. It is critical that Governors understand their duties as Trustees and their responsibilities and liabilities as Governors of the school, for example in relation to safeguarding.
It is also essential that relationships between Chair, Head and Bursar operate effectively.
We provide regular training to Governing Bodies and Senior Management Teams, whether at a Governors’ away day, INSET training, or as part of our own schools conferences. This also assists our schools in demonstrating necessary training and updates for the purposes of statutory inspection and compliance.
