AIM to Require Better Web Disclosure

 In a bid to improve the quality of information available to the market, a consultation document proposes that AIM-listed companies upgrade the information shown on their websites. In particular, the rules will introduce the requirement for them to put financial information on their websites. The information which will be required will include:
  • their financial results;
  • the text of circulars to shareholders:
  • market statements and information on the company’s business; and
  • their admission document.

It is proposed that the new rules will come into force in 2007.
