Emma graduated from Southampton University in 1995 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, after completing her training with this practice. Emma heads up the Personal Injury team in Guildford. She specialises in Claimant personal injury work involving both adults and children, although she also undertakes defence cases. She handles a large portfolio of cases for clients from across the United Kingdom. The cases vary in complexity and value and involve physical and psychological injuries. Emma’s work includes road traffic accidents and fatal accident claims, product liability cases, cases against local authorities, public bodies and owners and occupiers of property. She also deals with cases against employers including repetitive strain injury and Health and Safety cases; and costs disputes. She undertakes all her own advocacy, and is a costs specialist in the practice. Emma is a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She also advises insurance loss adjusters on a range of cases.
