Solicitor
Sarah Arnold has completed a degree in Business Economics from the University of Exeter and a degree in Law at the College of Law in Guildford.
Sarah trained with a leading private client firm and joined Barlow Robbins in 2011 as a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team. Sarah has also spent time whilst qualified as a lawyer, working in the charity sector.
Sarah deals with commercial litigation and specialises in contentious probate and trust disputes. Her work involves:
- Disputing the validity of Wills based on allegations of mental capacity, undue influence, invalid procedure (due execution) or fraud.
- Challenges, and defending claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 where a beneficiary believes that they have not been provided for in a satisfactory way under a Will or intestacy.
- The removal and replacement of executors and trustees and other disputes arising in the course of the administration of an estate or during the life of a trust.
- Negligently drafted wills and professional negligence claims.
- Disputes arising out of statutory Wills.
Post qualification, Sarah has completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners' diploma papers in the Administration of Estates and the Administration of Trusts.
