Injury Claims

If you have been badly hurt in an accident which was not your fault then you will want expert help to bring a claim. Barlow Robbins LLP is one of the region’s leading law firms with a strong reputation in the field of personal injury and clinical negligence law.

Our personal injury department consists of a team of dedicated specialist lawyers who, between them, are experienced in handling every type of case. You can be confident that your case will be dealt with to a very high professional standard.

We handle a wide variety of cases for victims of accidents. We bring claims against other motorists, local authorities, employers of all descriptions, government bodies and shops, supermarkets and schools.

Our clients are adults and children who have sustained injuries ranging from whiplash, broken bones, psychological stress, cuts and bruises through to the most serious neurological injuries- spinal cord damage and acquired brain injury.

Our Approach:

Every Barlow Robbins LLP client has a dedicated lawyer who will work with you to advise and guide you throughout the case in order to reach settlement. We have a pro-active and friendly approach and will endeavour to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible.

We understand that accidents can impact upon an individual’s employment situation as well as affecting their lifestyle and this is taken into account in our approach. We look not just for physical injury, but also the effects of emotional damage. Our client’s best interests are paramount and our relationship with them very important.

The vast majority of our claims do not need to go to trial and settle well before this stage is reached, with recovery of legal costs too. We pride ourselves on getting maximum compensation for our clients as quickly as possible.

Helen Goatley, the head of department, is a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel, a Fellow of Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a member of the board of trustees for Headway Surrey, a local charity providing services to brain injured people and their families. She is also the Chair of the Surrey Acquired Brain Injury Network.
