Residential Property

Let Barlow Robbins LLP take the stress out of moving house. We have a large team of qualified professionals dedicated to making your move as stress free as possible. We all specialise in residential property, are experts in our field and we are up-to-date with all of the latest developments in property law.

We deal with residential property across the spectrum from multi-million pound sales and purchases of houses, flats, farms, equestrian properties, listed buildings and land to one-bedroom flats for first time buyers. We are also specialists in Chancel Repair Liability. We are able to move quickly, efficiently and professionally and have been able to conclude urgent matters in a very short space of time. We have extremely good personal links with local estate agents and work very closely with them and local surveyors in progressing transactions.

We have a specialist team to advise on leasehold enfranchisement and lease extension work, which is becoming more topical as many leases now require extensions. We also have a dedicated team specialising in high value sales and purchases, farms and equestrian properties, priding ourselves in offering a first class service, including site visits if required.

We differentiate ourselves from our competitors in being able to thoroughly investigate and report on title uncovering any problems and providing solutions to those problems, moving matters through to a satisfactory and swift conclusion.

We are happy to provide a written quotation on request. Most typical conveyancing transactions are conducted on a fixed price basis, excluding VAT and disbursements. Typical disbursements include Search fees, Bank telegraphic transfer fees, Stamp Duty Land Tax and the Land Registry fee. Our fee will include acting on behalf of the lender, where mortgage finance is required, completing the Stamp Duty Land Tax Return, making the necessary Land Registry application and liaising with the Management Company in leasehold transactions.

In the unlikely event that a matter becomes unusually protracted or complicated and more time-consuming than originally envisaged, then we will contact you straightaway, so that a course of action may be agreed on and our fees re-evaluated.

If you are moving house, re-mortgaging, selling land to a developer, buying a property to let, extending your lease or dealing in any way with residential property, please get in touch with one of our specialists and we will be able to help you immediately.

If you would like further details please complete the enquiry form and a member of the residential property team will contact you by return.
