Barlow Robbins has been awarded the Lexcel mark for quality, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to delivering quality in management and client service across the firm’s four offices in three Surrey locations: Guildford, Woking and Godalming. .
The Lexcel quality mark, awarded by the Law Society of England and Wales, is only given to law firms who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited firms undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
In order to become Lexcel accredited, multidiscipline law firm Barlow Robbins was independently assessed by The Assessment Network Ltd, a Bedfordshire based company, in a process that took many months’ preparation and involved a large number of staff - including the Marketing, IT and HR functions - across Barlow Robbins’ three sites.
Barlow Robbins was highly commended during the process by The Assessment Network Ltd which cited the firm for “high levels of compliance that were observed across all offices and departments.”
Barlow Robbins is also accredited by the Investors in People Standard, a business improvement tool designed to advance an organisation's performance through its people.
Commenting on the Lexcel accreditation, David Knox, Risk Management Partner at Barlow Robbins who oversaw the process, said:
“Achieving Lexcel across all our offices shows our continuing commitment to giving our clients ever- higher standards of service. Lexcel is increasingly being recognised as a quality kitemark by both private and commercial clients and it gives us a benchmark we can use to keep on improving our service-offering and internal management controls. We’re very proud of the way our staff have taken the accreditation process on board and worked hard to achieve this award.”
