Personal Injury Solicitor - Guildford

A vacancy has arisen in our Personal Injury Department based at our Guildford office for a 2-5 PQE Associate Solicitor on a full time basis.

This role provides the opportunity to work as part of the firm’s specialist Claimant personal injury claim team to deliver an excellent client service, predominantly but not exclusively to clients who have sustained severe brain and spinal injuries.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough training on the CPR and pre action protocols as they relate to personal injury claims and must have an understanding of the Rehabilitation Code.

Skills required will include team work, initiative, great communication and self-management, flexibility, a ‘can do’ attitude, an enthusiasm to learn new things and the ability to be an impressive ambassador for the Department and firm. There may be an element of supervision of junior lawyers, therefore the successful candidate will have an interest in people management and developing and mentoring others.

Individual financial targets and objectives will need to be met in line with the Department business plan.

Dispute Resolution - Legal Admin Assistant Vacancy - Guildford

A full-time Legal Admin Assistant is required to support the day-to-day administration of the Dispute Resolution team in Guildford.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have superior administrative and organisational skills, a real attention to detail and a “can do” attitude. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise accordingly as they will be supporting a number of Legal Secretaries and their Lawyers with their filing, photocopying, court bundles and other administrative tasks. Therefore, self-management is essential.

Previous experience with administrative tasks is essential and experience within a legal setting would be an advantage.
