Dispute Resolution Legal Secretary - Guildford

A full time Legal Secretary is required to work for the Partner and Head of Department in Dispute Resolution based in Guildford. This role requires superior administrative skills, a “can do” attitude and a willingness to get involved with all aspects of supporting the department; therefore the successful candidate must be a true team player.

Previous legal secretarial experience with a litigation background is helpful. The successful candidate must have fast, accurate audio typing, excellent administration skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. Self-motivation, flexibility & strong communication skills are essential.

Applicants must be IT literate and confidently able to use Word, Outlook and Excel with excellent attention to detail.

Family Legal Secretary - Woking

An experienced full-time Legal Secretary is required in the Family department to support the Woking office for a six month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will have proven knowledge and experience of legal documentation and procedures. You must possess fast accurate typing skills and be well organised.

This role requires excellent IT and communication skills, both written and on the telephone, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Experience within a Family department is preferred but not essential. This is an interesting and challenging role requiring a degree of flexibility, a real desire to help people, a “can do” attitude and a willingness to get involved with all aspects of supporting this thriving department.

Contentious Property Solicitor - Guildford

A vacancy has arisen in our Dispute Resolution team at our Guildford office. A Solicitor with 2-3 PQE dealing with contentious real estate matters is required on a full time basis to join our busy team.

The Applicant will have a record in contentious property work with experience of commercial landlord and tenant disputes (business tenancy renewals, rent reviews and dilapidation cases). He or she will have knowledge of disputes involving easements, restrictive covenants, boundaries and co-ownership. An understanding of the law relating to long leases of flats (lease extensions, enfranchisement and service charge disputes) would be an advantage.

The clients in most part will be commercial organisations, particularly small and medium enterprises and high net worth individuals.

The firm has large residential and commercial property departments and the candidate will support non-contentious lawyers and participate as needed in those departments.

Sensitivity to the clients and skills to build up the work are expected. A passion for contentious property work is essential.

Personal Injury Solicitor - Woking

A full time vacancy has arisen in our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department based at our Woking office for an NQ Solicitor or qualified CILEx Lawyer on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will assist with Claimant personal injury claims and with any other related matters on which we might be instructed.

Skills required will include teamwork, initiative, great communication and self-management, flexibility, a ‘can do’ attitude, an enthusiasm to learn new things and the ability to be an impressive ambassador for the Department and firm.
