I studied Law with American Law at the University of Nottingham before completing my training contract at a mid-size regional firm in Surrey. Upon qualification I joined a specialist charity law team in London and have exclusively practised charity law since.
I have experience advising charities on a wide range of legal matters including establishment and registration, governance and constitutional issues, and dissolution. I have also served as lead administrator for a grant making charity and so have first-hand experience of the practical issues facing the sector.
I am a member of the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship and have a particular interest in advising religious charities of all faith backgrounds. I seek to provide creative and proactive advice to enable faith charities to strike the right balance between respecting religious tradition whilst complying with UK charity law.
