Partner - Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence

Helen Goatley

I head the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence department.

My specialist area is representing people with an acquired brain injury. I am also a professional Court of Protection Deputy and appear at inquests on behalf of bereaved families.

It’s really important to me that all of the people we work for feel that they are listened to and treated as individuals, not cases.

I am a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), am accredited as a specialist in Clinical Negligence by the Law Society and as a brain injury specialist by APIL, I am also Chair of the Surrey Acquired Brain Injury Network.

I am married with two children, who keep me very busy! I am on the board of trustees of Headway Surrey and have six years’ experience as a primary school governor. I love art, music and the great outdoors and have a passion for animal conservation.
