Barlow Robbins has advised Arcona Capital, an independent real estate asset manager and fund manager active in North and Central Europe, on the refinancing of a portfolio of ten Dutch limited partnerships holding 15 commercial properties located in the Netherlands.

Arcona Capital originally acquired the portfolio in 2016 and has refinanced it with a new loan facility from London based DRC Capital. In addition to the loan from DRC Capital, a group of investors has also provided bridging finance.

The Barlow Robbins Corporate Team comprised Mark Lucas (Partner) and Ian McDonald (Senior Associate). The Amsterdam office of Loyens & Loeff advised Arcona Capital on the Dutch law aspects of the refinancing.

Mark Lucas commented:

"We are delighted to have been able to advise Arcona Capital on the English law aspects of this transaction, including on the facility agreement itself".
