Data Protection & Fundraising Seminar

20 September 2017

The Data Protection and Fundraising landscape continues to change, and charities need to get to grips with the implications.

Meanwhile, the clock ticks steadily towards 25 May 2018 when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force. The Information Commissioner has made it clear there will be no exceptions for charities; they must be ready and compliant like everyone else!

Our seminar on Wednesday 20 September, will provide an overview of the GDPR regime and what you need to do in order to ensure your charity will be ready when it comes into force. We will also look at particular challenges which arise from GDPR when it comes to fundraising.

The session will introduce a panel discussion involving representatives from the sector and lawyers from our Charities and Information Technology teams.

Please do pass this on to anyone else in your organisation who may be interested in the Barlow Robbins Event.
