The world continues to be challenging for charities – with high-profile scandals, ongoing cuts in publicly funded contracts and lingering lack of public confidence all having a part to play.
On 7 November we’re going to be holding a seminar entitled “How your charity can thrive in uncertain times”.
Brian Johnson from HW Fisher, Chartered Accountants, will look at the sorts of questions trustees should be asking the finance team to be satisfied their charity is in good financial shape. Tim Houghton from Community First will talk us through some case studies highlighting where things have gone wrong and the lessons we can learn. Members of the Barlow Robbins Charities Team will look at the whole topic of closer cooperation between charities, including collaboration and mergers.
I do very much hope you can join us!
